This is an Embedded HTML Page
Weebly Problems and all!
This page will be coded in full using weebly's HTML "embed code" feature which prohibits us from using the CSS styling page, limiting the ways we can modify this page.
So How do We Overcome this Problem?
We can abuse the features that HTML provides us without using any CSS. This still limits the overall amount of changes a coder can make and sometimes the code might just decide to not work for absolutely nor reason what so ever. It's a little bit annoying to do, but once you figure the basics out, using HTML will feel quite a bit better.
Now, How Do We Want to Apply Backgrounds?
Well, that is a bit of a problem. When researching the necessary information to ensure the accuracy of this page, I noticed a bit of a problem. When searching for backgrounds, I had found loads of information on how to apply these backgrounds through the CSS styler. This problem continues as I have yet to find a solution for HTML that doesn't require the body element.
But What's Wrong With the Body Element?
Well, when using the HTML styler in weebly, the body function seems to fail or lack the desire to cooperate with us, so that option was immediately eliminated from this process. Even worse, there seems to be no other options in terms of adding a background so I will have to unfortunately, concede this section to weebly. And by that I mean that the background will be done through the weebly editor.
Now What?
Well, the next best thing would be to modify a piece of text to include color. This can range from changing a sentence to multiple paragraphs using this attribute. The only Downside to this is that I have to separate each piece of text that requires different colors into separate paragraphical functions.
But HOW would that possibly look?!?!?!?
This is what colored text could look like if you wanted to pick this tomato color to match with your blue and yellow.
This line will be gray just to show you that you can indeed have multiple lines in a paragraph that are different colors. However, weebly seems to either choose to condense the pieces of text or it decides to split the apart like it's doing right now. I think that weebly needs to fix this to make the editor function a bit better. I'll end up just picking a random color and roll with it for the rest of this page.
But What About Multiple Styles To Cover One Element?
You can also ise the hexadecimal code of a given color to decide how text will appear on your screen. All CAPS also seems to work in this regard.
Now What About Images?
Images are a bit easier to talk about as you can code images directly into a HTML document without having to navigate through CSS styler. This is probably the most versatile tool in HTML's kit as it allows the user to modify almost every aspect of the image in question. I will be using an image of a cat to show you how exactly images work in HTML.
The length of this url is insanely long and to keep my head from exploding, I will not attempt to redo the image but modify the dimensions of it, but just know that id does indeed work in the weebly editor.
And Finally... Links
There is one final thing that I want to discuss on this insanely long page, So if you did end up reaching this far, Congratulation, and if you skipped to this point, I highly suggest that you read the entire article. Now, to add links you add the necessary syntax to your HTML code and include the url of the link and some text for the user of your site to click on. It's important that you do this as the user won't be able to find the link otherwise.
Click on This Piece of Text to go to a page. The link above will take you to a page. It's up to you to figure out whether the link is trustworthy or not. And just to note, This entire site was built using the weebly embed code editor.
